Whether you are seeking a church, visiting us for worship, or attending one of the many events that we host: WELCOME to our community!

The Luther Room

The Luther Room, on the west side of the church’s main level, is a multi-functional place where people can gather for a variety of purposes. The Luther Room is a:

MEETING ROOM for committees, ministry teams, and the Council to gather and do their work. A large conference table is in the center of the room for these meetings. A screen is mounted on the wall to enhance meetings with multimedia presentations and to bring in off-site participants via
video conferencing.

CONTEMPLATIVE SPACE for centering prayer groups and for personal meditation. Religious symbolism, worship books, candles, and other ornamentation provides opportunities for times of quiet reflection and spiritual practices.

GATHERING AREA small groups to meet for casual conversations. Comfortable chairs in a circle are a great place for bible studies, Faith Stitchers, and groups of friends to sit and chat.

PLACE OF RESPITE for people who need to briefly step away from worship or other church activities. The Luther Room’s proximity to the sanctuary and St. Michael’s Hall makes it a convenient place to meet your needs without having to walk too far.

The Luther Room is named in honor of Martin Luther. As a leader of the Protestant Reformation, Luther’s influence on the church is still felt 500 years later, most especially in his conviction that we are saved by grace through faith. The artwork, writings, and images found in the Luther Room remind us of Martin Luther’s witness and inspire us to live grace-filled lives as we leave this place.
