I happened upon Seeds of Faith when doing a web search to find a place for my son to attend preschool when he was three years old. I had visited several schools, and wasn’t sure where we would end up, but after our tour with Mrs. La Bounty and hearing how passionate she was about early childhood education coupled with her desire to strive to find ways to best serve their students, I knew Seeds of Faith was the place for us! What I did not know at that time was exactly how much the Seeds of Faith community would truly come to mean to my son and our family. Considering that this was the first time my son would be out of my care for an extended period of time, I was nervous to send him to school. However, this fear was short-lived once I was able to see and feel the care and compassion the SOF staff had for my child. The teachers there are absolutely wonderful and made it easy for me to feel comfortable leaving my son in their care. In a very short period of time, I went from having a little boy who was apprehensive to try something new to one who was overflowing with excitement to find out what was awaiting him at preschool each day. He has had so many wonderful experiences and developed numerous friendships that I know will last for years to come. I can also say that I’ve been able to create relationships with other SOF parents, which has been very rewarding for me, and I believe this was fostered by the environment that is created for families at Seeds of Faith. I could go on and on about the wonderful experiences my son and family have had at Seeds of Faith. As my son moves on to kindergarten this fall, I am sad that I will no longer be part of this community on a daily basis, but will be looking forward to returning with my daughter in 2016!
