  The Stephen Ministry Connection
Christ Caring for People through People

Stephen Ministry is a ministry of caring.

Congregation members of Faith Lutheran Church become the eyes and ears of Jesus,
seeing and hearing the needs and struggles of others within our church.

How can you help?

If you are dealing with life struggles and need a Christian friend to listen, care, and be there
for you, please consider asking for help by contacting a Stephen Leader, Pastor, or calling
    the church office.

If you know someone in our church who is going through a crisis or difficult time in his or
her life and might benefit from Stephen Ministry, you can help by:

• Listening to, caring for, and praying with your friend.
• Asking your friend for permission to share his or her name with a Pastor or a Stephen
  Leader.
• Reminding your friend that all information given to Stephen Ministry will remain
  confidential.
• Once permission is given, notify a Stephen Leader as soon as possible.  (Please do
not report a friend’s name to a Stephen Leader without first asking for and receiving
  his or her permission.)
• Continue praying for your friend and the Stephen Ministry program at Faith.

To make a referral for care, receive care for yourself, or find out more about the Stephen Ministry program, make a Stephen Ministry Connection by calling the church office or one of the Stephen Leaders at Faith Lutheran Church:
