“It was the vision of the founders of Faith Lutheran Church that Faith would be a lantern set on a hill proclaiming the hope and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Toward that end the architects designed a lantern, tall and bright to grace the top of the building. We continue in that tradition. The words of the hymn we sang as we broke ground for the new addition say it best,

Let us build a house where love can dwell and all can safely live,

A place where saints and children tell how hearts learn to forgive.

Built of the hopes and dreams and visions, rock of faith and vault of grace;

Here the love Christ shall end all divisions

All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place.”
