Fellowship Groups/Events
Faith provides fellowship opportunities for adults of all ages through both annual fellowship events and fellowship groups that meet on a regular basis. Information about fellowship events appears directly below. Click here to go to information about fellowship groups.
Fellowship Events

Semi-Annual Congregational Meetings
Faith holds semi-annual congregational meetings in January and April. A potluck lunch is held following the 10:45 worship service prior to the meeting. Watch the website and the Faith Weekly bulletin announcements for the dates and more information.
Alpha Sunday, held each September, is Faith's kick-off to the church's education year. This celebration includes carnival-type games and activities, food, and fellowship for all ages, including adults.
Fall Celebration at Living History Farms
Every October, members of Faith enjoy a picnic supper, horse-drawn wagon rides, old-fashioned games, and fellowship at Living History Farms in Urbandale. Watch the website and the Faith Weekly bulletin announcements each fall for the date and more information.
Craft Night is an evening of organized crafting held each fall for Faith members and their friends. A variety of crafts are available for both adults and children. Some of last year's Craft Night projects included circular loom knitting scarves, beading, decopage bird houses, wisemen Christmas ornaments, snowman pillows, scrapbooking cards and gift bags, mini gumball machine candy dishes, and decorated picture frames. Several weeks before the event, a table displaying the crafts you can make is set up in the commons. You can choose the crafts you'd like to make, sign up, and join the fun.

Couples and singles age 22 through 35 are invited to join this group for monthly fellowship activities. Watch the website and the Faith Weekly announcements for up information about upcoming events.
Faith offers two types of dinner groups to enable anyone interested to share dinner and get better acquainted with fellow members: traditional "in-home" dinner groups and out-to-dinner groups. Fall dinner groups meet one evening a month in October, November, and December. Winter dinner groups meet one evening a month in January, February, and March. Dinner group coordinators assign group membership. Contact the church office for more information.
The Out-to-Lunch Bunch is a fellowship group that meets monthly at different restaurants suggested by members. A sign-up sheet is posted on the Fellowship bulletin board near the drinking fountain off the commons each month with date, time, and location information. Everyone is welcome to join this fun group!
Faith's Cooking Club meets on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at members' homes. Members learn about different cooking techniques and recipes. Contact Kala Zanoni in the church office at 225-8334 or kalazanoni@faithlc.org for more information.
Office volunteers work once or twice a week in the church office preparing and sending the newsletter or doing other office work. The volunteers also go out to lunch together once a month. A sign-up sheet for the lunch is posted on the Fellowship bulletin board near the drinking fountain off the commons with date, time, and location information.
Early Childhood Ministries Moms' Night Out
Moms of young children ages infant through kindergarten meet socially once a month for an evening of relaxing fellowship. Check the calendar on this website; the Faith Weekly bulletin announcements; or the ECM newsletter, Tiny Tot Times, for information about up upcoming get togethers. Past nights out have included a holiday cookie exchange, dinner or dessert at various restaurants, and a movie night. Learn, Laugh, and Lunch (LLL) meets from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church for worship, a program, and lunch on the fourth Wednesday of each month from September through May. Check the calendar on this website or the Faith Weekly bulletin announcements for information about each month's gathering.
