Faith's Brass Quintet is made up of five musicians from the congregation and is expanded with guest musicians as needed. The group participates in worship about once a month and for major festivals. Rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Group membership is based on openings for the five chairs via instrumental audition with the director of music. Agape Ringers, Faith's beginning hand bell group (two to three octaves), meets Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in learning to ring, this is the group for you. Prior hand bell experience is not necessary, but having a basic knowledge of music is helpful. Campanilla, Faith's intermediate hand bell choir (three to five) octaves, meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. Invitation to play in this group is based on previous bell choir experience. This ensemble presents music in worship once every six weeks. Jubilate Ringers, Faith's advanced hand bell choir (five octaves), meets on Thursday evenings from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. and participates in worship on a regular basis. Audition or invitation based on previous handbell experience is required to participate in the ensemble. The group shares music once a month in worship as well as festival worship and seasonal concerts. Faith's contemporary worship services, held on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. September through May, are led by a the Faith Today team, a group of volunteer singers and instrumentalists. If you would like to participate as a singer, drummer, keyboard player, or other woodwind instrumentalist, please contact Tom Sletto, Faith's director of Music Ministries, at 225-8334 or tomsletto@faithlc.org . Rehearsals are held only once just prior to the service, but the music is available to participants the week before the service.
